The Wānaka A&P Show is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Financial Officer to join our small, dynamic management team. This is a permanent, part-time role (around 15 hours per week), with flexibility – particularly in the lead-up to and during showtime.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly and accurately, ensuring the continued success of one of the South Island’s largest community events.
What you’ll bring:

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GST, payroll, accounts receivable and payable

Proven ability to maintain accurate, timely financial records and reporting

Experience with annual and monthly reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners

Recognised accounting qualifications
