The Wanaka A&P Show is one of the South Island’s largest community events – where everyone from major national brands to local hobbyists can exhibit. With a distinctly local flavour, the Show spotlights the skills of our agricultural and pastoral industries and has a strong focus on New Zealand-made.
 
Now in its 88th year, the Wānaka A&P Show brings town and country together in an atmosphere of collaboration and community. From humble rural beginnings, the Show has grown into an event of national significance. The 2024 Show attracted 44,000 visitors, 513 exhibitors and 500 livestock classes — and we expect 2025 to be even bigger.
