Competition is at the heart of the Wānaka A&P Show. It brings people together to showcase their skills, livestock and produce, test themselves alongside others, and connect with people who share the same commitment to their industry.
Show competitions also play an important role in supporting skills, knowledge and development across the rural sector. Feedback from experienced judges, the opportunity to see the work of other competitors, and sharing knowledge all contribute to maintaining high standards and encouraging continuous improvement.
For 90 Shows, generations of competitors have been an important part of the Wānaka A&P Show. From experienced exhibitors to those entering for the first time, every competitor helps continue our agricultural traditions and supports their future.
