Wanaka Powersports is gearing up for an exciting new chapter, with construction underway on a new 1,600-square-metre workshop facility at 7 Umbers Street, Wanaka.
The purpose-built site represents a significant investment in the future of the business and its ability to service the growing needs of the Central Otago community, from recreational users and farmers to boat owners, businesses and powersports enthusiasts.
Established as a specialist powersports and marine dealership, Wanaka Powersports is an authorised dealer for some of the industry’s leading brands, including Yamaha, Yamaha Marine, Stabicraft, Polaris, Indian, Husqvarna and Nautique.
While the business represents these major brands, its workshop team works across all makes and models of powersports and marine vehicles. From motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides to boats and marine equipment, the new facility is being designed to provide the space and capability required to support customers across the region.
The new workshop will bring expanded servicing, maintenance and technical capabilities to Wanaka, while providing a dedicated base for the business as the local community and recreational sector continue to grow.
Wanaka Powersports says the development reflects its long-term commitment to the region and to providing customers with quality products, expert servicing and local support.
The business is also proud to support the Wanaka A&P Show as a Silver Partner, celebrating the strong connection between the region’s rural community, outdoor lifestyle and the industries that help keep them moving.
The new Umbers Street facility is expected to become an important part of Wanaka Powersports’ future, providing a larger, more capable workshop while continuing the company’s focus on local service, technical expertise and supporting the people who live, work and play across Central Otago.
