We’re excited to welcome Colleen Nisbet to the team as our new sponsorship manager.
A familiar face around town, Colleen and her family have called Wānaka home for the past ten years. With a passion for bringing people together and a knack for building strong community relationships, Colleen brings over 25 years’ experience in the event industry, nurturing long term partnerships with Audi, Lexus, Microsoft, Claas HC, Terra Cat (Caterpillar), Komatsu and Southpac Trucks (Kenworth).
Her true passion, however, lies in our local community and its thriving events. Since moving to Wānaka, she’s helped establish and wrap up Wheels at Wānaka, worked with Warbirds Over Wānaka, Winter Games NZ and Challenge Wānaka.
Family, fun, community and fitness are her priorities in life. Like most Wānaka residents you’ll see her out skiing with husband John, or cheering on kids Imogen and Charlie at sailing or gymnastics, or strolling the local walking tracks with their energetic vizsla, Vivi.
Colleen’s favourite part of the Show is its variety. She loves to marvel at the big, beautiful flowers in the Home Industry Pavillion, watch her friends’ gutsy gals jump horses, and of course the excitement of the Jack Russell Race.
The Show is a perfect match for someone who truly understands the spirit of our community celebration. We’re thrilled to have her on board!
